A scarce to come by, second edition, hardback hymn book, published in 1913 by Anderson’s, Edinburgh.
 
With vibrant, coloured illustrations throughout, to accompany the sheet music, it is a really lovely collectors piece.
 
There are no missing or torn pages.
Showing it’s age, the spine is wobbly and there is some damage to the front cover. Bumping to the corners and age related marks to both front and back cover.
 
There is a previous owners name and address written in the front cover, in a lovely, neat, cursive font. It reads, “Barbara Pizer, The Alexandra Orphanage, Haverstock Hill, N.W.”
 
A sweet little book, despite its imperfections and priced to reflect this.
