A large, heavy, leatherbound book, containing 21 black and white lithographic plates, all with guards, mostly in very good condition. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the book itself, which is in poor condition - the price reflects this.
 
No dust jacket, and the front board and several of the front pages are completely detached. The back board is very loose. The spine itself is almost nonexistent. Extremities of boards very rubbed. Despite all this, the plates are stunning, and on some antique print sites, the individual plates sell for £25 each.
