Incredibly rare first edition printed by The Army and Navy Co Operative Ltd.

A rhythmical rendering of seaside stories and incidents, written by Aliph Cheem (Walter Yeldham) better known for his book ‘Lays of Ind’.

With an intricately illustrated cover, highlighted with gold gilt, depicting waves and seagulls.

Considering it’s age, it is in absolutely wonderful condition! The spine is pretty stable, there are no torn or missing pages and the gilt is still shiny. There is some wear to the top and bottom of the spine, some tanning to some of the pages and some slight bumping to the corners, all to be expected for a book of this age. The end papers are rough cut.

Such a beautiful book, it would look great on a shelf for all to see, or a perfect gift for any Victorian book lover.
