A fabulous, commemorative mug, marking HRH King Georges Silver Jubilee in 1935.
 
A cream base, with a sepia toned portrait of King George and Queen Mary, surrounded by vivid toned green foliage and flags. The back of the cup is plain.
 
Under the cup, carries a makers mark ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’
 
It measures 8cm high by 8cm wide at the neck. No crazing to the glaze, and no crack, but unfortunately there are two two chips, one to the inner rim and one to the outer rim near the handle - pictured. Perfect as a decorative item. All this said, the colours are wonderful and vibrant, and it is a lovely piece of memorabilia, over 80 years old.
