A rare, and highly collectible brass Cheshire Cat bottle stopper. The design was also produced as a corkscrew which can often be found, but the bottle stoppers are incredibly scarce to come by.
 
Alice in Wonderland was written by Lewis Carrol in 1865, featuring many well known and lived characters, The Cheshire Cat being one of them.

In good condition, however the cork is delicate due to its age, so it is advised that this item be utilised as a decorative item only.
