A stunning pair of Bourne & Leigh vases from their Leighton pottery, in their Empire design, pattern number 2833 hand painted underneath.

Dated circa 1910-1930.
 
Much of the gold gilt around the handles is still intact, and some remains on the rim.
The design on the vases is intricate, the colours bright and vivid.
Both vases have hairline cracks and crazing to the glaze. One has a small chip at the front. 
 
Each vase measures 25.5cm high, 9.5cm across the neck, and approximately 12cm across the base.
