This is a lovely set of genuine, 1950’s French bowls, consisting of a large bowl and four matching serving dishes, ideal for trifle or fruit salad.
 
The are in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks, just some wear to the gold rim. All the bowls are decorated with roses, and have a gorgeous scalloped edge. The colours are still vivid, however on one of the smaller bowls, the colours are slightly faded compared to the others.
 
The set is marked ‘Made in France’ underneath each bowl.
 
The larger bowl measures 20.5cm in diameter and approximately 9cm deep.
 
The smaller dishes are 12cm in diameter and 5cm deep.
